The Embrace

When I was painting this watercolour, I could almost hear in my head, loud and clear, the sound of cicadas playing violin on a bright summer afternoon, the sun shining through the dense leaves with an enchanting light. It reminded me of my dream to have a small house with lots of greenery and a big fat cat hanging around on the porch.
